Posted by artradar on August 6, 2009

We are writing a piece about using the internet to promote art and we want to feature some real tips from dealers, artists, curators or anyone else who is interested.

Have you ever used social media like Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, blogs?

How do you use your website to promote art? Have you made any changes or done anything in a different way to other sites?

How about email marketing?

Have you set up an on-line gallery shop?

Let us know about your successes and your best tips about mistakes to avoid. You can be credited any way you want or remain anonymous if you prefer. Thank you for your help.

Email kate@artradarasia.com with questions or your tips. Thanks for your help.

Hi there, funny that i saw this as i have been thinking the same thing myself. My brother is a Graphic designer and i asked him about setting up a site. He is not sure if it would be worth it guess, and suggested this site. I have put ad’s on craigs list, and kijji with no sucess. Not sure if it is just threw dealers or gallerys that we can sell our art? Keep me posted as to what you find out i would love to hear more myself.
    Thanks Bonnie
