Subodh Gupta cements reputation at Art Basel – Times

Hot Indian artist Subodh Gupta shows gigantic sculptural group Gandhi’s Three Monkeys (2008 Nature Morte Gallery) in the public square outside the main fair. “Contemporary Indian art is tipped to be the next major art world trend, with Gupta fast becoming an art market darling” say TimesOnline June 3 2008. Gupta will show his monumental sculptures at Saatchi’s new gallery in Chelsea next year.
